Prologis is looking for a project development coordinator (m/f/d) for Germany to join our office in Düsseldorf.
In this key role, you will support a regional team of five project developers in managing business processes and procedures for multiple real estate development and construction projects in Germany. This position is crucial to ensuring that each project meets company standards and that contract management is efficient. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, where they must juggle multiple priorities and respond to both internal and external client needs. This role is central to the team’s business and project operations and supports projects and deliverables.
In this position, you will anticipate the team’s needs and help them focus on their goals by driving all global and European initiatives, hosting workshops, preparing presentations, creating reports, and performing other project functions.
They monitor budgets and deadlines and support the overall coordination of complex projects. They also support the team in the preparation phase by taking responsibility for creating feasibility studies, smaller sub-projects, and preliminary investigations for potential acquisitions.
Overall, your focus is divided into one third on various administrative tasks, one third on global and EU development standards , and one third on feasibility studies and preliminary investigations.
You will work closely with our Capital Raising, Investment Services, and Legal teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire real estate business. In this role, you will receive high-quality mentoring to help you develop into a Prologis Real Estate expert. This position reports to the Head of Development Management Germany.
What is required for this.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to meet expectations and provide support.
- Monitoring of project costs and budgets based on the contractually agreed costs.
- Preparation of contracts and change orders.
- Responsible for regularly reporting on all DM projects to internal stakeholders.
- Responsibility for feasibility studies and preliminary investigations
- Support in preparing for IC.
- Supporting Prologis’ initiatives in the areas of environment, social issues and governance (ESG).
- Organization and preparation of workshops for process improvement and improvement of collaboration between teams.
- Driving forward the implementation of global and EU initiatives on sustainability and innovation
- Responsible for smaller sub-projects in the area of project development
- Review and enter all relevant project information and invoices into PeopleSoft. Reconcile the contract after project completion.
- Supporting contractors in the pre-qualification process and onboarding new suppliers.
- Reviewing and maintaining contractors’ insurance records and obtaining updates before payment, if necessary.
- Ensure that the costs on the invoices are correctly coded and match the contract’s budget allocation.
- Communicate with contractors and consultants to understand Prologis’ cost coding and process requirements in coordination with development managers.
- Prepare monthly expense reports and support the head of project development in Germany with travel planning.
- Support the entire team with project management, important meetings, regulatory requirements, contracts, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in real estate, property management, construction, engineering, architecture or a related field (preferably in logistics)
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage various tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Self-motivated, proactive personality
- Proven ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with customers, colleagues, managers, contractors and suppliers.
- Fluent German skills, both spoken and written
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.

In this central departmental role, you will support a regional team of 5 Development Managers with managing corporate processes and procedures on multiple real estate development, and construction projects in Germany. This role is critical to ensure that each project follows company standards, and the contract administration is efficient. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, where they will balance multiple priorities and respond to internal and external customer needs. This role will be at the center of the team’s business and project operations, supporting projects and deliverables.
This position will anticipate the needs of the team and help them stay focused on their objectives by driving all global and European initiatives, administer workshops, prepare presentations, reporting and other project functions.
You will be overseeing budgets and deadlines and support on overall coordination of complex projects. You will also support the team in the pre-construction phase by being fully responsible for managing feasibility studies, smaller partial projects and pursuits.
Overall your focus will be 1/3 on various administrative tasks, 1/3 on global and EU development standards and 1/3 on feasibility studies and pursuits.
This candidate must have the ability to get along with all levels of management and partners to ensure the success of each project from start to completion including securing the business.
You will work in close collaboration with our Capital Deployment, Investment Services and Legal teams to fully understand the broad scope of the real estate business. You will receive high quality mentoring in this role to help you grow into a Prologis Real Estate expert. This role reports to the Head of Development Management Germany.

- Review and enter all relevant project information and invoices into PeopleSoft. Reconcile contract upon project completion.
- Assist contractors with the prequalification process and onboard new suppliers.
- Review and maintain contractor insurance files and solicit updates as required before payment.
- Ensure costs are coded correctly on invoices and are in line with the contract budget allocation.
- Communicate with contractors and consultants to understand Prologis cost coding and process requirements in coordinating with the Development Managers.
- Prepare monthly expense reports and assist with travel arrangements for Head of Development Management Germany.
- Support the overall teams’ project management, critical meeting schedules, jurisdictional deliverables, contracts, etc.

- 3-5 years of proven experience in a Real Estate, Property Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related firm (preferable in Logistics)
