Senior Associate ==> Finance Manager

  1. Working with the Property Manager, conduct all financial reporting to the Principal and the lenders for an existing multi-tenant suburban office building (Yardi) and prepare for refinancing;
  2. Assist Principal in financial analysis (A.CRE methodologies) of two proposed mixed use communities in Maryland;
  3. Assist Principal in soliciting equity investors and bank financing for horizontal and vertical construction in these communities, with creation of multiple new separate entities;
  4. Working independently, conduct financial due diligence of prospective new CRE ventures on East Coast; and,
  5. Other duties as assigned, both in-office and in-field work.

This is a mid-career position, and a well qualified candidate should have 4 – 5 years of financial analysis experience in commercial real estate analytics.  This is an opportunity to work in a family centric business, in a great small city:  discoverfrederickmd.com

Bachelors degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related business areas,  with advanced degree in RE related finance desired; CPA strongly preferred.

Excellent Excel skills, complete understanding of the A.CRE methodologies; Project Manager / Gantt chart experience; report presentation experience are all important.

Responsible for revamping company’s accounts payable methods, hiring or contracting for other financial / bookkeeping staff, gearing up for significant growth in operations.   Dedication, thoroughly detailed analysis, and efficiency will provide this new hire Finance Manager with the opportunity to rise to lead the financial activities of the company and its ventures.
