Analysts in our Tokyo office play a key role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating in advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include:
- Creating and analysing financial models
- Organizing and preparing client presentations
- Managing transaction processes
- Assisting in structuring transactions
- Analysts gain exposure to the firm’s global businesses and deepen their understanding of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills.
- Perform customized company valuation analysis
They are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fixed income, and equity issuances. Analysts also:
- Coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers
- Lead due diligence processes
- Participate in legal negotiations
- Maintain client communication and help structure transactions
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ investment banking or equivalent experience
Native Japanese language skills - History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across groups and regions
