The Asset Management internship at Welltower offers a comprehensive, hands-on experience in the healthcare real estate sector. Spanning 10-12 weeks, this program is crafted to deliver a substantial learning opportunity. You’ll engage in real projects, gaining exposure to diverse asset types and invaluable industry insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
First Week: Your summer begins at our Dallas, TX office with an immersive orientation to Welltower and a thorough briefing on the Unit Documentation Project. This project holds significant importance, as you will play a leading role in improving documentation processes, essential for well-informed decision-making.
For the remainder of the summer period, you will be tasked with traveling across your assigned region, spending 4 to 5 days each week at different Senior Housing communities. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with site management to gain access to the entire property for conducting comprehensive audits of marketable units, categorized by type. Additionally, while on-site, you may also be requested to evaluate and document other property conditions.
TRAVEL
Significant travel (4 – 5 days per week) throughout your assigned region will be required. All travel expenses will be paid by Welltower.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a current undergraduate student with a preference for majors in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to rent a car
- Must have a valid Drivers License
