This position seeks a Manager or Senior Manager to join the Research & Consulting department. We aim to develop the next generation of leaders who can become research leaders in specific fields. We are seeking a researcher with a particular focus on logistics and industrial facilities (including data centers).
Job Description
Required knowledge and experience
- Experience in real estate services companies, investment banks, trust banks, real estate funds, and general real estate companies is a plus.
- Expertise in one of the following areas: commercial real estate, economics, data analytics, or spatial analytics.
- Basic knowledge to be able to communicate statistics and economic data correctly.
- Basic knowledge of logistics facilities and industrial facilities (including data center facilities) is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Update asset class databases, quality control, validation and improvement of internal data (including automation).
- As a member of the research team, he creates and reviews deliverables for domestic and international clients.
- Participate in client presentations and other meetings that provide timely market information, updates and insights.
- Support efforts to develop and strengthen new research services.
- Creation and distribution of analytical research materials for customers
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for research and consulting engagements and manage the delivery of high quality consulting reports that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications Department through data support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team and have basic communication skills to connect with stakeholders in different positions
- Intermediate or higher ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Specialized knowledge and experience with analytical software, including Power BI, is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Language and requirements
- A university-level degree is required as a minimum, with a degree in economics or finance being a plus.
- Native Japanese, Business level English
