Business Development and Growth Associate Full Time

Cedarline Lending is a tech-forward private lender specializing in ground-up residential subdivisions and multifamily CRE. We are seeking a Business Development Associate who is a lethal hybrid of a Growth Hacker and a Commercial Loan Originator.

In this role, you won’t just be dialing for dollars; you will be building the AI-powered growth engine that identifies, screens, and dominates new markets before our competitors even know they exist. Key Responsibilities

• Aggressive Market Expansion & Sourcing: Actively hunt and build a massive pipeline of customer prospects and commercial loan brokers. You will own the execution of outbound growth campaigns to break Cedarline into entirely new geographic markets.
• Tech Stack Architecture & AI Integration: Work closely with our tech team to design, build, and optimize the tools (Automation platforms, CRMs, AI agents) to 10x your own lead generation and outreach efficiency. You will utilize internal automation and AI tools to rapidly package borrower documentation into seamless credit memos.
• Deal Analysis & Relationship Management: Act as the first line of defense in vetting complex CRE deals based on our lending criteria. Gather financials, site plans, and builder track records , negotiate key loan terms , and maintain an iron-clad relationship with the borrower through approval.

The Ideal Candidate

• We are looking for a high-trajectory “builder” who thrives in a digital-first environment and doesn’t wait around for a manual to be written.  We want a highly-motivated, proactive individual who will act with a great deal of autonomy and can grow with the company.
• Experience: 2–5 years in business development, tech sales (SaaS), or commercial real estate/lending. A track record of beating quotas is required.
• Tech Proficiency: Power-user comfort with AI tools and CRM management.  Experience with low-code automation (Zapier/Make) and digital marketing workflows is a plus.
• Communication: Elite verbal and written skills. You can speak fluently and confidently with sophisticated institutional brokers and high-net-worth developers.
• Mindset: Intensely competitive, entrepreneurial, and highly organized. You don’t take “no” for an answer—you just find a smarter way into the room.
