Research Analyst (Real Estate) Full Time

C&W Research & Consulting aims to support the growth of the company by providing timely and superior expertise to its service lines and clients in the field of real estate market research and analysis. It helps to acquire new business through the provision of accurate and reliable statistical real estate market data and reports aligned with the company’s standards, as well as excellent market knowledge and presentations. It also provides in-depth market analysis to help internal and external clients make the right real estate decisions.

This position is for a candidate who will play an active role in the Research & Consulting department, which is made up of real estate analysts. We aim to develop the next generation of leaders who will become industry leaders in the field in the future. Second-year graduates are welcome.

Knowledge and Experience

• A college level degree is the minimum required.
• We welcome second-time graduates with no experience in the real estate industry.
• Able to pay close attention to analysis and operations.
• Willingness to learn about commercial real estate expertise.
• Strong communication skills to deal with internal and external clients: understand the complexities and rules of C&W research department and be able to communicate statistics and data correctly. Act as a liaison between local and regional/global teams.
• High motivation and enthusiasm to learn
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other analytical software with a strong desire to learn.

Primary Responsibilities

• As a member of the research team, you will contribute to managing, coordinating and delivering client deliverables both domestically and regionally/globally.
• Manage the production and distribution of analytical research materials to provide accurate and timely market overviews to internal and external clients.
• Attend colleague client presentations and other meetings to provide timely market information, updates and insights.
• Active participation in training programs and OJT provided by C&W and a desire to learn.
• Support efforts to design, develop and enhance new research products and services.
• Collaborating with Marketing & Communications for market insights and branding.
• Gathers market trade information by actively attending peer meetings and having regular contact with all service lines.
• Accumulate market knowledge through active participation in industry events and share it with the team.
• Responsible for maintaining archives relating to past market analysis.
• Regular market area reviews are conducted to ensure comprehensive market knowledge.
• Update your own database as necessary to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Execute regional team goals and initiatives and drive understanding among C&W service line professionals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to build strong connections with different stakeholders
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (including Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
• Independence and strong initiative

Language and requirements

• Native Japanese, Business level English
