In this role as a Senior Valuer you will be responsible for delivering valuations autonomously, preparing proposals and engagement letters, collaborating with research for the creation/update of databases. You will be responsible for the Office Sector and will work together with the Office Sector Leader to develop and find new clients, as well as increase the revenues for this asset class.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting valuations of individual assets or portfolios independently, with a focus on the Office sector
- Preparing proposals and engagement letters
- Proactively seeking clients to acquire new assignments, with a focus on the Office sector
- Directly interacting with clients and managing assignments from start to completion
- Collaborating with the Office Sector Leader, Capital Markets, Agency, and Research to develop and find new clients and increase revenue for this asset class
- Collaborating with the Capital Markets, Agency, and Research departments to update market reports
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in property valuation
- Proven technical expertise relevant to the role
- In-depth understanding of the real estate sector
- Experience within a large firm or corporate environment is advantageous
- Business development and effective client relationship management experience
- Sound financial literacy, including macroeconomic and microeconomic principles
- Proficient in writing clear, professional reports
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation and case law
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
- Degree level qualification (engineering, architecture, economics degrees are preferable)
- Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Presently Surveyor & Valuer at Senior Consultant level
- International experience is considered a plus
- Full command of Italian and English, both verbal and in writing
- Broad range of mainstream commercial valuation experience required – portfolio, commercial lending, accounts, acquisition
- Detailed knowledge of valuation methodologies (both traditional and new)
