Senior Valuer Commercial Real Estate Full Time

The V&A CRE Industrial & Logistics team (together with Offices) works for larger global investors/financiers and for specialized Dutch institutional clients, including the absolute leaders in the industry. Our valuations and advice are carefully substantiated with sound financial analyses and insights from available (internal) market databases. These are further reinforced by current market insights, which we gather daily through intensive contact with colleagues from other service lines, divisions, and countries. In this way, we combine local knowledge with the strength of one of the largest full-service real estate advisors in the world.

What are you going to do?

• As a (Senior) Valuer, you’ll fulfill a multifaceted role with significant autonomy and responsibility. In collaboration with junior team members, you’ll be responsible for developing calculation models and preparing reports for individual large-scale commercial real estate properties or portfolios in the Netherlands.
• You contribute to the retention and transfer of knowledge within the team, monitor the continuity of work, and are actively involved in the guidance and development of a new generation of advisors/valuers.
• You will be part of an internationally operating real estate consultancy and will work closely with specialist teams in other countries, including the cross-border team in London.
• You use advanced and validated calculation models. You are able to recognize, interpret, and process rental, property, and market data from various sources into input for these models.
• Our organization has its own research department and conducts ongoing market research. Thanks to our strong leasing and capital markets teams, we are closely involved in numerous transactions. You will leverage this in-house expertise to gather, analyze, and apply current market information in your models and reports.
• In addition to carrying out valuation assignments, you’ll actively contribute to acquiring new business. You’ll strengthen relationships with existing clients and build a network of new clients.
• Outside of your daily work, you’ll have ample opportunity to participate in specialist meetings, project groups, or client programs. This way, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Who will you be working with?

The Valuation & Advisory service line consists of approximately 95 professionals, divided into three specializations: Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Living, and Specialist Markets. As one of the largest departments within our company, Valuation & Advisory continues to grow steadily, and we regularly welcome new colleagues. The close-knit team consists of experienced and driven consultants, data analysts, and assistants. By combining our global expertise with local knowledge, we consistently deliver high quality to our clients.

Desired Profile:

We are looking for an analytical and customer-focused professional. You are results-oriented and possess the commercial acumen to effectively seize opportunities. Your strong communication skills enable you to persuade others. To take on this challenge with us, you also meet the following requirements:

• Registration as a Registered Valuer (RT), preferably with GZ and/or RICS annotation;
• 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience at a full-service or boutique advisor;
• A valid Dutch driving license B;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
