With the German speaking region being one of LaSalle’s key sources of investor capital the Client Capital Group needs to make sure that adequate client and prospect coverage is maintained. The Client Executive would work in the Munich based CCG team together with other professionals, covering clients as well as prospects and consultants in the German-speaking regions of Europe and will also work with the London based CCG team to supports capital raising efforts for other countries in Continental Europe. The role would report to René Höpfner, Managing Director / Head of CCG Germany.

Roles and Accountabilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and consultants in the assigned areas
  • Strategic approach of new prospects – cold-calling and opening doors to new clients
  • New business development:
    • Contribute to LaSalle’s capital raising
    • Making sure that LaSalle is included in relevant tender processes
    • Taking responsibility of high quality RFP replies together with the fund team and analysts
    • Give active input into the development of new products and/or business
    • Input into new product development
  • Marketing:
    • Represent LaSalle CCG at internal and external events
    • Development, review and constant improvement of Marketing Material

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 5 years in capital raising or related activities such as regular client relationship etc. preferably in the asset class real estate and/or alternative assets
  • Knowledge of German and Swiss based institutional investors such as pension funds, insurers and Versorgungswerke, and an understanding of their differing needs and requirements
  • Network amongst banks, Sparkassen, endowments and family offices would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulatory environment relating to the respective investor base and funds
  • Good overall understanding of capital markets
  • Confidence in conducting cold calls
  • Personal track record of independent capital raising activity
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a local but also international team
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work on a variety of projects
  • Mother tongue (or equivalent) in German and fluent in English, other languages like Swiss German, Italian, Spanish are an advantage
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in both German & English
  • Strong presentation skills – confident in presenting in front of small and large groups
  • Experience in real estate related activities such as asset or portfolio management would be an advantage.
