The Analyst will support the Northeast Regional Office (NERO) Asset Management team in leasing, property management, construction management, client reporting, valuation and overall accounting for a defined portfolio of commercial investment properties. Property types may include office, retail, multi-family and industrial.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to maximize asset performance and recurring net income.
- Support lease analysis, negotiations, and contract preparation while coordinating with attorneys, consultants, and external partners.
- Oversee quarterly asset valuations, including internal assessments and review of third-party appraisals.
- Collaborate with property management and leasing teams to implement strategies that enhanced leasing activity, operations, and capital expenditures.
- Support asset business plans, reporting, acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence efforts, and property transitions.
- Assist with asset sales by engaging brokers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and managing due diligence through closing.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in related field.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment, effectively handling multiple issues, prioritizing deadlines appropriately and remaining flexible and professional.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in institutional real estate, preferably in asset management and/or acquisitions.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and Argus Enterprise modeling, joint venture waterfalls and promote structures.
- Experience using AI tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with real estate specific applications, such as Argus Enterprise, View The Space (VTS), DealPath, Chatham Financial and MRI/Yardi a plus.
- High level of initiative, strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to work across teams.
- MBA preferred
