The Summer Analyst will support the Affordable Portfolio Management team on a variety of portfolio management, asset management, NOI/procurement, and database management. In addition, the Summer Analyst will be tasked with a property-specific asset evaluation project which will span the term of the internship. The Summer Analyst will have the opportunity to produce a report of that analysis and present that report to the larger Affordable team.
- Assist in the design and implementation of asset management processes to enhance portfolio performance
- Assist with underwriting and financial analysis projects
- Support the team in managing and facilitating disposition and refinancing transactions
- Monitor occupancy and delinquency rates for active portfolios
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing NOI through procurement strategies
- Assist the team with any ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Related’s Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current undergraduate junior with a target graduation date between December 2027-Spring 2028
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate Finance or Real Estate Development
- A strong passion for real estate development
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; expertise with excel
- Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Self-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environment
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
