Carlyle AlpInvest seeks to hire two Analyst Product Specialists for our Investor Relations team, with each role aligned to a distinct strategy vertical across the platform: (i) Private Wealth strategies and (ii) the Secondary platform. While each role will have a primary strategy focus, all Analysts will gain exposure to the full suite of Carlyle AlpInvest’s investment strategies, including Co-Investment, Secondaries, Portfolio Finance, Credit Secondaries, and Primary Investments.
The Analyst supporting Private Wealth strategies will play a key role in advancing the firm’s growing Private Wealth channel, while also contributing across AlpInvest’s broader product offerings. This role will help drive strategic initiatives across the segment and support engagement with Carlyle’s Global Wealth Sales professionals.
The Analyst supporting the Secondaries platform will focus on a flagship strategy that recently raised $20bn in its latest fundraising cycle, supporting ongoing fundraising efforts across both Institutional and Private Wealth channels.
Across all roles, Analysts will be primarily responsible for supporting product development, fundraising, and client service efforts globally across Institutional, Retail, and Insurance investor channels. The position will provide key support to Senior Product Specialists, including driving strategic initiatives, coordinating and responding to investor diligence requests, preparing bespoke analyses, and supporting marketing and fundraising materials. Analysts will also serve as internal product experts, partnering with sales teams and collaborating broadly across the firm.
Over time, Analysts are expected to interact with both existing limited partners and prospective investors, while building deep expertise across AlpInvest’s strategies. Successful candidates will be self-starters capable of proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement, anticipating business and client needs, and prioritizing across multiple projects, all while consistently delivering high-quality work product in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment.
The Product Specialist role at Carlyle AlpInvest sits at the nexus of the firm’s sales and investment teams, playing a critical role in executing fundraising initiatives and driving growth in overall AUM.
