Financial Analyst – Apartments Division ($83,800 – $107,800) Full Time

The Financial Analyst supports the Capital Planning & Analysis team of the Irvine Company Apartments Division with capital budget request processing, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the preparation of capital budget request memos and supporting exhibits.
• Provides project analytics, data validation and reporting for quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term planning for Apartments Division capital investment.
• Prepares recurring and ad-hoc capital spend/project-level reporting and analyses.
• Maintains data integrity of project-level data within the Portfolio and Project Management System (PPM) on the SAP platform and associated Business Intelligence reporting data model.
• Interprets and manipulates large datasets from multiple data sources in order to build financial models and reporting packages.

Additional Skills:

• Experience within corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, public accounting, consulting, or commercial real estate preferred; multifamily experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of database structures, financial modeling, Google Sheets, Tableau, Webi, and SAP experience a plus.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:

• 1-3 years
