In Austria, we have 150 employees at three locations and offer our clients a comprehensive range of integrated services throughout the entire life cycle of a property. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team at our Vienna headquarters on a full-time basis.
Your tasks:
- Professional management and further development of the research team to provide targeted support to the management and specialist departments (including investment, leasing and valuation) with the aim of delivering sound, data-driven decision-making bases in the real estate sector to our clients.
- Ongoing analysis and evaluation of national and international real estate markets across all asset classes, with a clear focus on customer needs and the company’s strategic business objectives.
- Creation and publication of regular market studies, reports and trend analyses for internal stakeholders, customers and external communication (including press)
- Coordination and management of national and international research projects, including resource planning, time management and ensuring high quality standards.
- Development, enhancement and maintenance of databases as well as implementation of modern analysis and reporting tools for the efficient evaluation of relevant market indicators.
- Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners to develop innovative solutions and identify new market opportunities.
- Representing the company as a research expert at specialist conferences, to customers and in relevant industry bodies.
- As part of the CBRE team in Austria, you will report professionally to the Head of Research for the DACH region.
Your profile:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a responsible position and experience in leading and training a young team.
- Completed studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in the fields of economics with a focus on real estate, urban planning or other real estate-specific training.
- Strong interest in the real estate market and enthusiasm for trending topics related to real estate, urban development, and social trends.
- High levels of initiative and willingness to innovate, coupled with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Strong communication and networking skills within the company as well as in exchanges with customers and relevant market participants in the industry.
- High degree of accuracy, flexibility and organizational talent
- Excellent IT user skills, especially in geoinformation systems (ArcGIS, QGIS) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Affinity for data and processes (SQL, Python, R, etc.)
- Very good German and English skills as well as excellent formulation and expression skills.
- Convincing presentation skills
